zuli & marcos

what a gorgeous day for a ceremony on the water! the ceremony took place in a gazebo on brickell bay. it was so beautiful. rose petal covered the floor and the sweet music of a violin filled the air. it was perfect. just a few steps away, at marineiro restaurant, was an intimate reception. the chic black and white theme was perfect because it allowed you to focus on the view of the city, while the simple decorations were just right for the space. utterly perfect! zuli looked so amazing! she was glowing. marcos was stress free and ready to go to the d.r. to party. thank you! we are so blessed to have met you, zuli and marcos!

monica & chris

monica and chris had originally planned to have a simple ceremony and reception at their home. plans were quickly changed to a church and full reception. the church by the sea in surfside was a beautiful ceremony location. the reception was at the mark on brickell. the view of the water was enchanting on that night. we filled the room with candles and tall centerpieces. the dance floor was filled with guests all nightlong. the colors were so fabulous: hot pink and burgundy. they looked so good together. it was a perfect day. monica and chris, we love you!

ivette's bridal shower

the bridal shower is the ultimate send-off into the world of homemaking. everything you need for your new life together as husband and wife is acquired at the bridal shower. a time to shower the bride! we showered ivette with a "pear-fect" celebration. we hosted the event at panera bread in sunset place. the centerpieces were vases willed with pears. each pear had a long raffia ribbon tied on the stem. the vase had a green ribbon around it, and in the middle, a custom designed sticker with the couple's name. too cute! the food was fabulous! we brought in our signature cupcake stand, filled with hard, dark chocolate covered cupcakes with the letter "P" in green. they were a big hit with the ladies. we also played a hysterical game that each guest brought in an undergarment, and ivette had to guess who brought it for her. we even had the gentleman who was helping us with the food blushing!

ivette & michael

my busy bride! ivette had so much to do at work that we generally met at her office. the ceremony was at coral gables congregational church. the reception was at the doral park country club. her rich colors of burnt orange and brown were so beautiful. the theme of the wedding was "the perfect pair". the favors were pear-shaped salt and pepper shakers. we decorated the ballroom with christmas tree branches and photos of the couple provided by alina m. the guests found their names on gold leaves with their table numbers written on flower encrusted paper. the candy station was filled with christmas candies and chocolate. the cake was topped with their initials. it was a perfectly clear day. we celebrated looking over the golf course and pond. the night ended with a petal toss that blew the couple off to their honeymoon. ivey & mikey, best wishes!

carol & jose

it's not every day that you get to plan a close friend's wedding. carol is a long time friend of the family and co-worker. she even brought me breakfast the day that i got married! we had so much fun planning her beautiful wedding at the red fish grill. this waterfront restaurant was the perfect place to host an intimate gathering of family and close friends. the ceremony was supposed to be outside, but because of the horrible rainstorms all weekend, we moved the celebration inside. it was so gorgeous. the beach themed centerpieces were unique to each table. the chocolate cigars were a tasty treat for the guests as well as m&ms with a special message from the bride and groom. the blushing bride surprised me with a very special treat from her honeymoon in san francisco...a bottle of my favorite dessert wine from robert mondavi called moscato d' oro. thank you again! carol & jose, we love you!

legia & michael

about 3 weeks before the wedding, i met ligi & michael. everything was almost done, but as with any wedding, so many things had to be done in the weeks and days prior. the ceremony was at st. francis de sales catholic church on the beach. setting up for the elaborate reception at the exclusive bath club was so much fun. the garden themed reception was enchanting. we decorated the fireplace with candles and fun garden decor. the 2nd bar area was adorned with photos of the couple provided by alina m. the cocktail hour was outside on the open patio. the food was delicious and the service was great. the intermission was a grand caribbean festival where we took out enormous lanterns, straw hats, and maracas. the conga line weaved in and out of the ballroom and back to the dance floor. the couple was so happy to share this day with their boys, robert & ricky. ligi & michael, much love!

grizelle & andrew

my bride touring the world. gigi was only in town a total of 2 weeks in the several months that we planned before the wedding. we saw each other almost every other day for one thing or another. the ceremony was at st. gregory catholic church and the reception was at the swimming hall of fame in ft. lauderdale. it was so beautiful. the butterfly theme was so whimsical. the cocktail hour was outside facing the inter coastal with the music of a steel pan man filling the air. we made a unique scrapbook that the guests signed and could later be filled with their pictures from the wedding. the music was out of control. the groomsmen even had a special dance for the guests. they were truly a party bunch. they truly enjoyed every moment of their special day. gigi and andrew, best of our love!

stephanie & alex

the couple that needed a room at my home! we spent so much time together before the wedding. that was so much fun. we did everything together...preparing favors, invitations, and anything else we could think of. the beautiful ceremony was at st. patrick and the reception was at celebration ballrooms. the low centerpieces provided plenty of space for the guests to look around the room with ease. the guests took their seating cards from a gorgeous arrangement of branches and gems. the candy station was a hit with the kids as well as the adults. we had such a great time dancing the night away. i don't think anyone wanted the night to end. steph & alex, we love you!

vacation

time away from miami! alina m photography and design & i went to gasparilla, fl to shoot a beach wedding. it was beautiful. the best part of the trip was hanging out with my favorite photographer & my baby boy! daddy even got him an elmo (elo, as he calls it) to play with at the hotel. the beach the following day was relaxing and very fun.

kathy & edgar

we had no part in the planning, but we sure had fun. the wedding was absolutely beautiful. kathy was a gorgeous bride, and edgar, handsome as always. we had such a blast. i loved sitting next to the coffee station, although i had already enjoyed my 1 cup a day. the mardi gras intermission was hilarious. seeing all our friends dance around was too funny.

chiara & ricky's communion

ahhhh, a break in the world of weddings to have fun with the kids! the communion was at the church of the little flower. the reception was at chiara's coral gables home. it was such a gorgeous day. the sun was beating down on the pool and made a beautiful shimmer across the house. we served all sorts of delicious appetizers. i made a brie in pastry puff with guava. wow! the lasagna was so good! the entertainment was a dj group composed of kids who played games and had karaoke. they had a blast. the centerpieces also served as favors. we had all white decorations with pink and blue accents for the cute cousins. chiara and ricky, God bless you.

claudia & will

we had such a great time planning this wedding.  outdoor ceremonies are so beautiful, especially when the rain holds off until you are done!  we were able to set up in the rain, and enjoy a sunny ceremony.  our masterpiece was the tree used as the backdrop for the altar.  the reception was at los ranchos.  what a yummy meal!  each table was decorated with it's own style and elegance.  there were a mix of petals, candles, mirrors, and red roses.  a classic look for a chic event.  claudia and will, much love!
